Had my first Tennessee client this morning and cannot get the income numbers to transfer from the Federal input areas to the Tennessee income worksheet. I checked the information sheet and income data entry areas and cannot find any mistakes. What am I doing wrong? All other states transfer income numbers routinely and have never had this issue before.

TN is in the final year of the Hall Income tax (1%) on interest, dividends and capital gain distributions not earned in TN.
If the TP does not have any of the above in excess of $2500 MFJ then no info will transfer to the state return.

Read my post, TN only taxes interest, dividends and capital gain distributions not earned in TN.
wages and unemployment are not taxable in TN. You may need to do some research.
