FYI if you have both resident and nonresident members of a Maryland 1065 entity, and have also paid in resident tax and nonresident tax ProSeries may not allocate to the MD K-1 properly.  The issue is we paid in an estimate and of course that estimate is not the exact amount of tax. The program cannot figure out where to throw in the difference to. You will have to manually calculate and do Special Allocations for this. Called Tech Support and their answer was correct - that's because MD issued no guidance on this. The calculation is a bumblef--k and all we can do is use our own logic to support the special allocations.
