Probably because your situation doesn't NEED a statement attached...I dont think thats referring to the transactions that get summarized to have a statement attached.   

That one is on the front page of Sch D, but only choose Yes if youre mailing them in with the 8453. 

Did we have a box to check for attaching a statement for summarized transactions in the past?
