I was uploading a document using ProConnect and before the upload was complete it was, "Checking for viruses" It hung there for quite a while and another message board asked me to disable my anti-virus software which did fix the problem. It did make me wonder why Intuit was using the antivirus software on my computer to check the upload instead of their own anti-virus program which seems to me to be a more secure option?!

Intuit isnt in the anti virus software business, they've got their hands full with tax and accounting software.....and you really want a company that specializes in viruses guarding your computer.

Thoughts of terror race through my mind thinking how badly they could mess up my computer if they added their own anti-virus program.
