I have a client whose Federal Return keeps getting rejected due to the omission of an IP PIN. My client doesn't live in any of the states approved to receive an IP PIN nor have they ever asked for IP PIN from the IRS. Is this a glitch in the Intuit software or is this strictly something on the IRS side. It's impossible to talk to anyone at the IRS about this matter. Anyone have any suggestion as to how we get around this blockage?
