I am in the process of preparing tax returns from 2014 to date.
Will all of them have to be paper returns?
Or will the open years still be e-filable?
Would appreciate if someone could tell me. Thanks

IRS only allows current year and two years back. So as of today, 2/27/20, you can efile 2019, 2018 and 2017. Nothing prior to that.

@AshleyatIntuit I thought you took your pirate ship off to another Intuit island. Why are you back here carrying the load on Gilligan's Island? Or is this just a three hour tour?

I have 2 clients so far that need to e-file their 2018 tax returns. In using ProSeries it has allowed me to e-file their State of Wisconsin returns but not Federal . Says the version of ProSeries is no longer current - I've updated several times and still won't allow.
PLEASE - anyone have any ideas how to get these transmitted. Really don't want to do paper returns.
Thank you.
