ProSeries 2018 downloaded new updates, but now we cannot sign in. After entering username/password, the login button text is stuck on "Signing In..." but no error comes up. What do we do?

Exit the program and do a warm boot. If that doesn't work, do a cold boot. Turning off the computer can do wonders for problems like this.

If that doesn't help, switch to a tax program that uses competent programmers.

I've had this problem several times. Trying to login a 2nd time worked once, and restarting my PC also worked.

@brianedmondson72 No. It is on our admin server too. I figured it was not reaching the Internet, so I browsed this article and followed its recommendations, but I still couldn't get it working:

I am having the same problem. Anyone find a solution yet? Otherwise I will call customer support on Monday....very frustrating!!!

Mine did that the other day, just hung there at Signing in... computer restart fixed it for me.
Try disconnecting Wi-fi then sign on "offline" see it will go through that way...then you can reconnect to wifi…..I've gotten around weird log in issues that way.
