ahhh, after digging through her file, its a 4plex, she lives in one, family lives in one and 2 are rented out....so the basis should be 50% of the purchase, not this weird almost 1/3 number that doesn't match anything.....could have been as simple as a bad keystroke on the adding machine that he just grabbed the wrong amounts from the get go.
