What form do I record the $500 credit for the new ODC. Client is HOH and has a son 27 year old that lived with his mother all year, does not work.

The 27 year old son only has investment income of $1,025.

Just mark him as a dependent on the federal information worksheet and you should see the credit on line 12.

If line 11 is 0 line 12 would be 0 also. It is not a refundable credit.
