In the professional version, the medical worksheet.  Be careful that you are not entering numbers that were paid before tax.

@Tax prep   You keep saying "my"...is this for your own return or a clients?

you need to clarify what youre asking....is  this a self employed person? Is this health insurance paid through an employer?

I'm asking on behalf of a client,

my question is:

my client paid health insurance for 2018 and he received 1095-B shows that he was covered all year. and he paid ($13,000 for his plan). now I want to enter the amount that he paid during 2018 on (schedule A > medical and dental expenses > medical expenses worksheet).

which field should use to enter that amount?

Thank you

You should see a line for health insurance premiums Line 2a.  They were paid out of pocket, right?  Not pre-tax through an employer?
