client sold 2nd home (not used for rental). Sale reported on 1099-S. This will be a Long Term Gain. Where is it reported on Schedule D to generate the form 8949?
Usually the 1099-B worksheet. It is set up for an actual 1099-B from a broker, but it is meant for most things on a 8949.
