Thanks in advance.

Dependent 19 yrs has a 1098-T box1 less than box-5 and so not eligible for E-filing, income 0.

Is it ok $1 other income to E-file?

Any help!

I've done that to get something to efile.

Most of us have done what Susan suggests at least once.  It's an IRS rule that I don't quite understand (I'm sure it's fraud related/driven)

Ignoring the fact that 1098-T forms are notoriously unreliable, wouldn't a bigger box 5 mean that part of the scholarship is taxable so there's no longer $0 income?

That, too and I think HOPE asked about that in another post.
