line 9a on the 1040 late penalties & interest worksheet is WRONG---THE RATE 5% PER MONTH NOT 25%--PLEASE HANDLE ; BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR A VERY TIME--I NEED THIS FIXED ASAP!

@tennessee Not that it’s any consolation, but the IRS generally recalculates and returns (with interest)….. i likely have a few that I didn’t bother to check in that position. If not transmitted, I’d edit and correct. sometimes you just rely on the expensive software to be correct

@Intuitjhaze Hey,Z…. @Just-Lisa-Now- reported a similar issue with the penalty worksheet on 3/2… you replied and I thought it had been resolved… seems like it was a somewhat different issue but same worksheet…. I checked a couple penalties at the time but they involved incorrect estimated payment date calculations that seemed to have been fixed…. Fix one break another?
