No. They don't think it's funny, they've become extremely lazy. The perfect example - I need a copy of my last three year's tax returns for the mortgage refi. Yeah so, I give you a copy each year. I know, they're somewhere. I know you have it in your files. It's not that we can bill them. That's not the issue. It's the hassle.
I track how many redo's on returns I have to do - my fault, client fault, investment house corrected 1099, etc. First year I ever hit 40 redo's. It's hard enough to get it done once. But a second time?
