Client was laid off from work and received a severance check that she did not accept or take from employer.  The gross pay and withholding (state, federal, FICA) are included in her W-2.  She is working with an Attorney that is asking for more and the employer is not returning her calls. What do I do with her tax return, do I file form 4852?
