Nebraska requires that all public employees contribute 4% of their gross wages to a public employee retirement account. State or local governments match this contribution by 150%. After 3 years the government contribution is 100% vested with the employee. I noticed that ProSeries included a line entry for space #14 for Kansas Public Employee contributions, but not line existed for Nebraska. Two questions:
1. Does Nebraska's public employee retirement contributions made by the employee qualify for credits against the employee's income tax?
2. Where/how is this information entered on ProSeries?
