"almost hold their breath when getting acknowledgments"

Never.  I actually do hold my breath, close my eyes, cross my fingers, and hold on tightly to a lucky rabbit's foot (which evidently wasn't too lucky for that rabbit).  Waiting for acknowledgements to pop up is the most stressful part of the day.
