Proseries should fix this problem, this post is two years old and I just had the problem.  This return had two student dependents carry over from 2020

Here are the steps I had to do to fix it:

1 - Delete all 1098-T forms 

2 - Delete non dependent from Info Worksheet

3 - Create new 1098-T for remaining student

I tried multiple methods and this is what finally worked.  It shouldn't be this difficult.
