Partner in a partnership is a trust. Lacerte doesn't have the option of choosing a trust. What do I select? I have been using "individual" but other software has trust as a selection.

Try using Fiduciary. First make sure that it is not using a SSN instead of a FEIN.

It's an FEIN so I will choose Fiduciary.

Fiduciary means Estate or Trust.

What if it is using the person's SSN? If the trust is a revocable trust. I would think to use Individual.
