A huge timesaver when switching servers is to Map the new one with the same drive letter as the old one.
Here's another example:
Server 2008 R2 is my old server (All the data and Options are on a Drive I mapped as (M:\)
Server 2019 is my new one, I decide I'll map the new drive as a (X:\) drive
I copy all the files from Server 2008 over to Server 2019 but all my paths inside my OPT files,OPMaster files would still be (M:\) and not the new (X:\) drive.
If I map the new server with the same letter as the old one. All my datapaths and options would already be correct when I copy all the files.
