I have a client that is itemizing via Schedule A on Form 1040.  Under deductible taxes paid on Schedule A, the client's state and local income taxes includes an amount titled "disability/unemployment insurance/transit tax".  The client has taxable income in both Massachusetts and Michigan.  I did not enter such a tax and am not sure where it came from.  Anyone else have this experience and/or know where this number comes from?
