Say for instance an individual taxpayer has statements that are part of an individual return for instance, interest detail, dividend detail, mortgage interest detail, charitable contribution detail etc.  Are these statements going with the e-filed return?   I would have a similar question for business returns; are the statements and elections part of the e-filed business return going to the government?
