Hi there, 

We are trying to get more info from the IRS, but you should probably plan to file the extensions by 5/17 if you want to e-file them. Any payments made after 5/17 would need to be made via paper check or through the IRS direct pay system.

If for some reason that changes based on info from the IRS, we will send out a product alert which would be extra time for you. However, these extensions happen every year for disasters (CA wildfires for example), and I am not aware of the IRS ever making a change to the dates for e-file or direct debit of the affected returns.
