Are any others getting "Error while getting Calculation data from engine [client]," where [client][ is the client number? This is not going to Forms mode, this is just entering data.
I updated this morning. I tried re-applying the update, but installation failed, making me think Lacerte pulled down the update.

I am receiving the same error. This happened several weeks ago and Tech Support walked me thru a reinstall from the web.

I did a forced re-install and the error went away. Sure seems like there's a lot of instability in Lacerte this year.

A call to support might be required, but only if it continues. Sometimes just a small hiccup in the computer drive read rate.
I would try https://accountants-community.intuit.com/articles/1607261-how-to-perform-a-force-install-of-lacerte before calling support, as this often cures such things.
