I understand it doesn't fix the issue, as the issue is a limitation built into the software.  Providing your feedback, personal experience, and overall irritation with this function would go a long way.
To access, go to your 'Help' drop-down menu and select 'Lacerte feedback'.  This feedback goes directly to our developers.
