Has anyone had a Exception EAccess Violation in module w19Ttax.exe at 00E0c49F error? I have never in 20 years had this issue. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I am not getting that error, but it is generating filing instructions/letter for state Franchise and Excise Tax for every individual client.... meaning even those who do not have that piece. I have been on hold forever, but the recording keeps saying check here if we are getting odd error messages on Lacerte. Mine was fine until the update about 2 hours ago.

I get that or similar (not sure about the numbers at the end) every so often. Try closing the program and reopening. If that doesn't work. Shut down the computer. Then restart it.

Tried all that and even reloading the software, which got stuck while loading. I waited in hour and 45 minutes for Lacerte support and we are still working on the problem.

I will answer my own post... after three hours on the phone, I was given the following link: c:\Lacerte\19tax\Setup19\TaxSetup.exe /force
You need to enterthis into the box that pops ups after holding the "Window" key down at the at the same time as the "R" key. Within 3 minutes of "forcing" the setup, all was well.
