Intuit® ProConnect™ ProSeries® has added new features to the 2016 release. ProSeries has simplified the process of attaching PDFs to a return and selecting federal and states products for e-file. In addition, ProSeries has increased security by masking sensitive information in your client’s tax returns. See below for more information on the new features.

PDF Attachments

There are two new ways to attach a PDF file in business products:

  • Right click on the desired field that contains the PDF attachment alert. In the pop-up menu, select “Attach PDF File to Field …”
  • From file selection screen, select “Add Attachment” and use the browse button to locate the PDF. Assign PDF field in the “Type” field. Select “OK” to attach PDFs to the return.

EF Selection

The Corporate and Partnership Federal Information Worksheets have been simplified to provide a streamlined process of selecting federal and state products for e-file, including initial returns, first amended returns, extension and estimates. In addition, the new format provides a summary of which returns are supported in our products or by the agency.
