During the initial web installation of Lacerte, you may encounter an error when choosing the local workstation direction, resulting in the following messaging:
"Setup is unable to find the required files for installation."
The typical solution to this is clearing the Windows Temp folder. Down below we'll go over you to do so:
Clearing the Windows Temp folder:
- Press the Windows + R keys on the keyboard.
- In the Search box, type %temp% and press enter. This will open the Windows Temp folder.
- Delete the contents of the Windows Temp folder and then try the operation again.
