Lacerte shows on taskbar but program window is not visible

When opening Lacerte, the program appears on the taskbar but doesn't open on the desktop. This situation occurs most often when using multiple monitors.

Run the Reset Display tool from Lacerte Tool Hub

  1. Close Lacerte.
  2. Download the Lacerte Tool Hub Install file.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (LacerteToolsHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. When the install finishes, select the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.

Step 2: Using the tool in the Lacerte Tool Hub

  1. Open the Lacerte Tool Hub.
  2. Select Program from the left menu.
  3. Select Reset Display.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the Reset Display tool.
