The following diagnostic is generating in the Individual return:
e-file: ProConnect does not support the reporting of the IL submission ID on Form IL-8453. This does not affect the successful filing of the IL return. (ref. #34787).
Why is this diagnostic generating?
You're receiving this informational diagnostic regarding the 20-digit submission ID located at the top of the Form IL-8453 because ProConnect doesn't support the reporting of the IL submission ID.
- The 20-digit ID is received from the state when the electronic submission has been accepted by the state taxing agency.
- The submission ID applies to e-file submissions done through the IL Department of Revenue website.
- The submission ID can be found after the e-file is transmitted under the F4 filing status. This won't print on the form, since it's received after the e-file transmission.
