CT Form CT-1040 Property Tax Credit Limitations

The amounts entered for Connecticut Form CT-1040, Schedule 3 - Property Tax Credit lines 60, 61 and 62 are not flowing.

  1. Verify the input in Screen 53.212, Connecticut Property Tax Credit, has been completed.
    • Connecticut tax town or district (input sheet code 800)
    • Description of property (input sheet code 801)
    • First installment date paid (input sheet code 2)
    • Second installment date paid (input sheet code 6)
    • Amount paid (input sheet code 3)
    • 1=auto, 2=auto 2, 3=primary residence (input sheet code 4)
    • 1=taxpayer, 2=spouse, blank=joint (input sheet code 5)
  2. Verify the Date of birth entered in Screen 1, Client Information indicates the Taxpayer (and Spouse if MFJ) indicates they were 65 years or older by the end of the taxable year.
