How do you enter sales or use tax for New York, Form IT-201, Line 59?

To enter a Sales or Use Tax amount for line 59:

1. From the Input Return tab, go to State & Local ⮕ Taxes ⮕ NY Sales and Use Tax.
2. Click General Information in the top-right.
3. Enter the amount in the field Sales and use tax [O].
   • Enter an amount to override the automatic calculation of Sales and Use Tax to be reported on the return. An entry in this field will suppress all worksheets from printing.
