How to generate Form 8857 in ProConnect

This article will show you how to generate Form 8857, Request for Innocent Spouse Relief, in the Individual return.

To generate Form 8857 in the program:

1. Go to Input Return ⮕ Miscellaneous Forms ⮕ Innocent Spouse Relief (8857)
2. Scroll down to the Part 1 section.
3. Check the Print Form 8857 with complete return box.
4. Enter a 1 in the Should file Form 8857: 1=yes, 2=no.
