Choosing the printer in ProSeries

Choosing the printer in ProSeries Professional:

  1. From the File menu, select Print Options.
  2. From the left menu select Printer, PDF, and DMS Setup.
  3. Here you can select Change for each part of the print job:
    • Tax Forms Printer
    • Client Letters/Invoice/Client Checklist Printer
    • Client Presentation Printer
    • Labels Printer
  4. Select OK.

Choosing the printer in ProSeries Basic:

  1. From the File menu, select Print.
  2. From the print tabs select Print Setup Options.
  3. From the Printer dropdown select the printer you are currently using.

Other common questions

You can get important diagnostic information by printing a ProSeries Test Page.

To print a ProSeries test page:

  1. From the File menu, select Print.
    • If you're using ProSeries Basic, go to the File menu and select Print Test Page. Then, proceed to step 3.
  2. Under General, select Print Test Page.
  3. Click Print.
    • If the test page prints, the print driver may need to be updated or installed again. See the manufactur website for your printer for additional information.
    • If the test page doesn't print, uninstallling ProSeries and installing again will usually correct the issue. Refer to this article for more information.
