What's new for 2019 Lacerte?

The following features and improvements will be available in the 2019 version of Lacerte:

Save time with the ability to use a single e-file wizard for regular and other filing types, such as Property Tax and LLC. You will be able to use the same e-file wizard to select/deselect filings for Federal, State and Other filings, helping to reduce the time and hassle of having to file with two separate wizards.

Lacerte client list view will have expanded functionality with the ability for you to keep your preferred view while being able to sort your customer list with a click. No more dragging columns to sort -- you will be able to click on the column header in any position to sort their client list.

  • Multi-user and high-volume offices can now e-file at the same time with no disruption to workflow.
  • Increase productivity with the ability to add multiple instances of filings (Franchise, LLC, etc.) within the same client e-file, reducing time spent filing multiple e-file returns for the same client.

Easily add password protection to documents using the option to password protect PDF files in the Print dialogue window. This helps to keep your documents protected when you share them with clients or when saving files to your hard drive, all without having to break your workflow.

The Topics tab is now available on nearly 50 complex input screens within Lacerte. It allows you to view complex screens in a return with ease, as content categories are now sorted into small relevant subjects. You can then select the subject relevant to your input needs, helping you locate input locations quickly and efficiently, thus eliminating the need to scroll through pages of content to find the field you're looking for.

Introducing the new, reimagined eSignature for Lacerte. Lastly, eSignature can help your firm with becoming or staying paperless. Whether youre receiving eSignatures online or using the new option of collecting digital signatures in person, youll have fewer papers on your desk while helping save some trees.
