E-filing improvements
- Simultaneous e-file. Multiple preparers in your office can now e-file at the same time, without disrupting or slowing down the process.
- Combined e-file wizard for regular and other filings. Use a single e-file wizard to send federal, state, and "other" filings like property tax and LLC returns.
- Multiple filings supported in a single client file. Now you can e-file multiple instances of certain returns (franchise, LLC, etc.) within the same client file, so you can avoid the hassle of making multiple client files for one person.
Client list sorting
Now you can sort data by simply clicking on any column header in the Client List. Similar to Excel, you get one-click convenience and maintain your preferred view. Click here to learn more

Get the forms you need to complete even the toughest returns. Take advantage of over 134 new forms, as well as e-file capabilities for 44 existing forms. Plus e-file support for 43 new return types.

The best way to collect signatures just got better with four new enhancements:
- At-a-glance dashboard. Track the exact status of every eSignature request in real time.
- All forms available. Collect signatures for any form, including engagement letters, invoices, and bank documents.
- Optional authentication. Only forms 8878 and 8879 require knowledge based authentication (KBA) in Lacerte. For all other forms, you can choose optional email or text message authentication to confirm your client's identity.
- Use any device. Go paperless by collecting digital signatures in your office or remotely using any computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.
