How to resolve diagnostic Ref. 17018
To make sure bank account information is correct in Lacerte 2016 and newer:
- Select the Details tab.
- Go to Screen 3, Miscellaneous Information/Direct Deposit.
- Scroll down to the Direct Deposit of Refund / Electronic Payment section.
- Select the box labeled Bank account information verified.
Before Lacerte 2016:
- Select Settings.
- Select Options.
- Select the Tax Return tab.
- Under the Tax Return Options section, select Yes from the option Verify Bank Accounts.
