Common questions about Form 5500 benefit plan schedule overrides

Below are solutions to frequently asked questions about entering Form 5500 benefit plan schedule overrides in Lacerte.

  1. Go to Screen 3, Miscellaneous Information.
  2. Select Schedule Overrides from the left Sections menu.
  3. Enter a 1 to force the schedule or a 2 to suppress the schedule for each field.
    • For Schedules H and I, entering a 1 will force Schedule H, entering a 2 will force Schedule I, and entering a 3 will suppress Schedules H and I.
