Below are solutions to frequently asked questions about creating, customizing, suppressing and transferring the Client Invoice in the Fiduciary of Lacerte.

Customizing a Lacerte Client Invoice for a Single Form

What program options transfer from the prior year software?

  1. From the Settings menu, select Client Invoice.
  2. Click Add in the bottom left of the window.
  3. Select Yes or No to the Copy 'Default Invoice Setup' Invoice to a New Invoice? message.
  4. Enter an Invoice Name and click OK.
  5. Enter the Amounts and select the appropriate options for the invoice.
  6. Click Close.
  7. Select Yes to the Save changes? message.
  8. Go to Screen 3.1, Invoice, Letter, Filing Instr.
  9. Locate the Client Invoice section.
  10. Choose the Invoice schedule number (-1=suppress invoice)[O] from the dropdown list.

There isn't a way to suppress the client invoice for all clients. You can only suppress the client invoice for each return individually.
