Common questions on Form 9325 in ProSeries

Form 9325 can be used to show an electronically filed return was accepted by the IRS.

To print Form 9325 from within a client file:

  1. Open the client return.
  2. Open Form 9325
  3. From the File menu, select Print, then Print Selected Forms.
  4. Click Print

To batch print Form 9325 in ProSeries Professional:

  1. On the ProSeries HomeBase, select the client or clients to be printed.
  2. From the File menu, select Print.
  3. Select Batch Print.
  4. In the list of Available Forms: locate and select Form 9325: General Information for Electronic Filers
  5. Click Add to move the Form 9325 to the list of Selected Forms.
  6. Click Print.

Form 9325, Acknowledgement and General Information for Taxpayers Who File Returns Electronically, exists in the Individual module. Once E-file Acknowledgements are updated, Form 9325 will become active and can be printed and kept for your records as an Accepted E-file Receipt.

There's no such form per the IRS in the business returns. However, you may always use the Electronic Filing Client Status History Report, which updates with the e-file status of your business clients, as well as individual (1040) clients.
