ProSeries menu options truncated, cut-off, or screen appears distorted

SOLVEDby Intuit18Updated April 20, 2023

In the ProSeries Professional or Basic products, you may encounter distorted menus or fonts are cut off, or truncated.

This situation is the result of the Windows operating system display settings being adjusted to a DPI or font scaling set to greater than 100%. An adjustment of the display properties for DPI or font Scaling may be common with individuals that find their computer screens difficult to read at higher resolution settings.

Unfortunately, increasing the font size above 100% can distort images displayed in your software. When you desire larger text and images, we recommend decreasing the display resolution for your computer, but maintaining the font size at 100%. This will result in your display being easier to read, without the distortion that is common with increasing font size.

Please follow the steps below that correspond to your computer's operating system.
