Forcing Schedules L, M-1, and M-2 in a corporate and S corporate return

You can force the Schedules L, M-1, and M-2 to generate on Form 1120 or Form 1120S even if the requirements aren't met. Select your module for instructions.

  1. Go to the Input Return tab.
  2. Select Balance Sheet from the left-side menu and choose Balance Sheet Miscellaneous.
  3. Scroll down to the Other section.
  4. Enter a '1' in the field Balance sheet, M-1, M-2: 1=force, 2=when applicable [Override].

  2. Select Balance Sheet, M-1, M-2, M-3 from the left-side menu and choose Balance Sheet Miscellaneous.
  3. Scroll down to the Other section.
  4. Enter a '1' in the field Balance sheet, M-1, M-2: 1=force, 2=when applicable [Override].
