Manage Users for EasyACCT

Manage Users is the process of securing your data and information by requiring a login to gain access. This article provides an overview and a walk-through on verifying if you are set up to manage your employees.

By default, the current Primary contact will be the Primary contact in My Account.

Change user roles
Delete a user
Invite a user
Re-invite a user
Cancel a pending invitation
How a new user accepts your invite

Change user roles

  1. Click here to sign in to the MyAccount Manage Users page.
  2. Select the dropdown arrow next to the user's name.
  3. In the My Account Access dropdown menu, select the Role.
    • Users with Employee or Training and Support can't manage users.
    • Admins can download products and invite, delete, and manage user roles.

If you're viewing the Manage Users page as an admin, but admin management privileges aren't available, try clearing your browser cache.

Delete a user

  1. Click here to sign in to the MyAccount Manage Users page.
  2. Select the dropdown arrow next to the user's name.
  3. Select Delete User, then Yes, Delete.
  4. From the Manage Users page, be sure the deleted employee no longer shows on the table.

Invite a user

  1. Click here to sign in to the MyAccount Manage Users page.
  2. Select Add Users/Manage Invitations.
  3. Select + Invite Users.
  4. Enter the following information to complete the invitation:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
    • My Account Access (Select the appropriate Admin role from the My Account Access dropdown menu.)
    • Software Access (role)
  5. Select Send Invite.
    • Make sure My Account sends the invitation under Pending Invitations.
  6. Under the Helpful Resources menu, select Manage Users.
  7. Select Add Users/Select Invitations.
  8. Select + Invite Users.

Re-invite a user

  1. Click here to sign in to the MyAccount Manage Users page.
  2. Select the Invitations tab.
  3. Find the user under Pending Invitations.
  4. Select the dropdown arrow next to the user's name.
  5. Select Resend Invite.
  6. A new invitation will open with the user's information.
  7. Make sure the user's information is correct and select Send Invite.

Cancel a pending invitation

  1. Click here to sign in to the MyAccount Manage Users page.
  2. Select the Invitations tab.
  3. Find the user under Pending Invitations.
  4. Select the dropdown arrow next to the user's name.
  5. Select Cancel Invite.
  6. Select OK.

How a new user accepts your invite

  1. If you're receiving an invitation, check your email.
  2. Open the email titled Your Intuit ProConnect Account from do_not_reply@intuit.com.
    • Check your spam folder if you don't see an invitation email.
  3. Select I accept.
  4. If this is your first time signing into the web page, click the Create an Account link. If you already have an account, sign in.
  5. Once you can successfully sign in to the web page, you can view My Account.
