1. Can you convert my data?

2. How much is conversion?
The conversion service is now included in our Fast Path license. Please call (800) 933-9999 for details. Terms, conditions, pricing, features, service and support are subject to change without notice.
3. How long does conversion take?
In most cases, you will receive your converted data within 3 business days.
4. Do I have to buy every form or can I use them on a pay-per-return basis?
You do not have to purchase every form to have access to them. Lacerte programs are available on an unlimited-use or pay-per-return basis. Choose whatever option is most economical for you, or a combination of both.
Unlimited use packages and modules are offered where there are no per-return charges and you can prepare as many returns as you wish.
This option helps you to build or maintain a tax practice using premier tax software, while at the same time containing costs associated with preparing returns. Combine unlimited-use and pay-per-return(REP). You can choose unlimited versions of the software you'll use most often — and use our pay-per-return option to prepare an out-of-state or other uncommon return.

5. Can I use pay-per-return for any type of return?
Yes, you can use pay-per-return for any type of return offered by Lacerte.
6. Is support included?
Yes, technical support is included with the purchase of your Lacerte product.

8. What are your support hours?
Toll-free technical support is available from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Pacific Time. Extended support hours are available during tax season, including weekends. For the most current information regarding support hours of operation click here.
9. When is the new year's tax program made available?
We understand how important it is to get you the new tax year program as early as possible. For that reason, the first release of the program is typically scheduled for download in mid-November.
10. How is the product delivered?
The standard delivery for new customers is via Download Only Delivery. Existing customers will receive the product based on prior year unless requested otherwise. Physical CD shipment is also a delivery option, but only available upon request.
11. Which states qualify for sales tax exemption with Download Only Delivery?
Current list of states that provide sales tax exemption based on state legislation (subject to change): AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, MD, MO, NV, NJ, OK, SC and VA. In addition, CT customers are eligible for a reduced tax rate of 1%.
12. How are updates delivered?
Updates are made available for download as soon as they are ready.
