On July 4, the President signed a bill that extends the Paycheck Protection Program loan application deadline to Aug. 8, 2020. Read the bill.

The Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation program, which offered a $600 boost to unemployment benefits, expired on July 31, 2020. Remind clients that unemployment benefits are taxable, and to update their W-4s.

Intuit recently launched new estimators for self-employed and small business clients to better understand tax credits available to them within Aid Assist.
