Has anyone else noticed a very slow start to tax season this year? I know that the IRS only started accepting returns on 2/12/21, but I am feeling like my client volume is low this year. Do you think taxpayers are holding off on filing because of the pandemic? I am just wondering what others are experiencing.... thanks

I have a few more returns in than I did at this time last year. But I had an avalanche of returns hit me yesterday. Timing mainly depends on when your clients are receiving W-2s, 1099s etc, so if your clients are waiting on those things because they are delayed, you aren't going to see your clients yet.
