Hello, JVC. Thanks for reaching out!

PDF attachments are limited by size each and total.

General rule of thumb for ProSeries and Lacerte is that no single PDF attachment can exceed 1.5MB, and the total size of all attachments may not exceed 32MB. In Tax Online, however, it is important to note that no single PDF attachment can exceed 1MB, and the total size of all attachments may not exceed 20MB.

It sounds as though each PDF is still too large. We'd recommend reducing size further. One way of going about this is by re-scanning them in B&W at 150-300dpi.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

When attempting to e-file or perform a status check on returns, you may receive the following error message:

Exception occurred during EF batching client:
Problem occurred executing EF submission.

We are aware of this issue and our development team is currently investigating the issue. Your PDF attachments should not be an issue after this issue resolved.
