RTE 53 unable to open EasyACCT

This artile will help you resolve the following errors:

• RTE 53 unable to open the EasyACCT program.
• RTE 53 can occur trying to perform an Internet Update.

To resolve the error:

1. Check to make sure that there are no pending Windows Updates.
   • If so, update your Windows.
2.  If this error occurs when performing an Internet Update, see Improper File Size Comparison has Caused the Internet Update Process to Abort.  
3. Right Click on the EasyACCT icon and select Properties. 
4. Select the Compatibility tab.
5. Select Run as Administrator.  
6. Apply, then OK.
7.  Go to C:\EasyW\Network\setup.exe and select the option to install missing and damaged files.
