Entering a 2023 date in a ProSeries 2020/2021 individual returns for the Practitioner PIN Program, Date PIN entered field, triggers an error.
"Today's date is invalid for electronic filing. The date must be on or after 01/01/2022 and on or before 12/31/2022."
The IRS will reject returns without a current date.
As a work around, please enter a 2023 date for the Date PIN entered field, verify there are no other errors in the return, then disable conversion error checking when transmitting this return.
This work around will not work when sending a new eSignature request for ProSeries 2020/2021. We are researching solutions for this.
