Will you be updating the program so that we can make the first estimated tax payment on 7/15/2020?

Once IRS changes their programming, Intuit can begin to change their programming, until that happens, choose a different payment method.

That's really a question YOU should ask Intuit!  This board, like the name implies, is a community board of preparers who often take time during their busy days to try to help other preparers with answers based on their previous experiences and knowledge.

If an answer solves your issue, click on the "Accept as Solution" button! Makes it easier for people to find answers to similar questions that have already been posed.

Intuit is the middleman.  If IRS wants to allow the first payment on July 15, then it will allow Intuit to transmit returns with that instruction.  If, as is more likely, Congress wants IRS to allow the first payment on October 15, the program will be changed to do that.

Rule 1:  Don't sweat the small stuff.

Rule 2:  It's all small stuff.
